About the event
The Youth Development team are offering informal race coaching on 08 October 2023.
Plan for the day:
- 9:30 Rigging and boat set up
- 10:00 Basic rules of racing, tips and advice
- 10:40 Join the rest of the members for the race briefing and race course
- 11:00 First race of 3 races.
The Youth Development team will be on the water during the race to offer coaching whilst you make your way around the course.
The main aim of the day is to successfully complete the race course.We have a number of club boats that can be used. This is for Junior Members who have some experience of sailing. If you are completely new to sailing Junior Coaching Days will be coming up in 2024.
