A two-day course (16 hours) covering personal and boat preparation, types of engine and hull-shapes, basic boat handling techniques, rule of the road and coastal advice (among other subjects).

 

Aimed at the complete beginner, once completed this course will also count towards the International Certificate of Competence (ICC). A safe, seamanlike approach is important at all times. Minimum age 12 (PBL2), supervised by responsible adult until 16.

 

£50 for members.

 

Will help prepare you to carry out other duties around the club.
