Commodores Dinner October 2023
As it's our Commodores last year, we're throwing him a surprise dinner party to say thanks for all his hard work over the last few years. We hope you can join us to thank him for all his efforts.

About the event
Commodores Dinner Friday 13th October 2023 6 pm onwards.
This is our Commodore's final year. Alister Banks has been WRSC's Commodore for four years and has brought a tremendous amount to WRSC during his time as Commodore, including seeing the club through Covid-19.
To send him off in style and to thank him for all his hard work WRSC has arranged a little get-together at The New Inn in Walton. We hope that you'll all be able to join us to thank him for his effort and commitment to the club over the last four years.
There is a sit-down meal from 6.15 pm onwards; however, if you can't attend the meal, we'd really like it if you could join us for a couple of drinks afterwards.
This event is a one-off! The next one won't be happening until our next Commodore leaves in three years, so come help us make some club memories.
What’s on the menu?

Starters
(V) Broccoli & stilton soup, served with a warm bread roll. (Gf) Smooth chicken liver pate with toast & red onion chutney. (Gf) Scallops with cauliflower puree, crispy parma ham & pea shoots.
Main courses
Celebration roast beef, served with roast vegetables, mashed potato & Yorkshire pudding. (Gf) Salmon, served with sweet potato mash, green beans & lemon butter. (Gf) Chicken supreme, served with black pudding & truffle bon bon, creamy mashed potato & garlic mushroom sauce. (Gf&v) Asparagus, garden Pea & wild Rocket Risotto.
Finish up with any of the following Desserts
Sorbet & boozy berries. Or Treacle sponge & custard. Or Baked vanilla cheesecake.
Or a Sharing Cheeseboard.
