This year Bart's Bash takes place on Sunday 14th September and WRSC has registered to take part. This amazing global event allows for funds to be raised either for the Andrew Simpson Foundation, or for local causes such as club projects which relate to the objectives of the foundation. (https://www.bartsbash.com/) This year we are again raising funds for our club, with the objective of enabling /encouraging more of our young people to get out on the water, especially since we now have some 40+ member children. We are fortunate to have Mark Robinson leading the Youth Development and Oliver Robinson as Youth Captain. We encourage all club members to take part in this amazing event which is suitable for both experienced members and those new to sailing. Don’t worry if you have never raced before as this is a great opportunity to get started. IMPORTANT NOTE –The Finn Open takes place the same weekend but finishes on Sunday lunch time. There is normal Sunday racing from 11 am but the Barts Bash Race will be at 2pm.
