Start Racing Laser Coaching / Sailor Improvement Sessions

Whether you’re just dipping your toes into the world of club sailing/racing and Open events in the warmer months, or you’re ‘tough mudding’ it in a dry suit all-year-round, braving the frostbite season and all sailing weather conditions, the Laser is an ideal single handed boat for all sailors.

Shaun, WRSC’s newly appointed Race Coach and all-year-round seasoned racer, will be helping adult and junior members to learn and progress into Laser sailing and racing or improve their current technique.

The coaching session with cover Laser set-up, on-water rules, along with on-land and on-water coaching looking at beginner and advance techniques.

All new to sailing members and more experienced sailors can take part.

Start Racing Certificates

It’s now possible for members who attend Race Coaching and complete course requirements during the coaching session to be awarded their Start Racing Certificates FOR JUST £5! For more information or any questions email: training.officer@wrsc.org.uk

Club Lasers are provided for the coaching session; however, if you have your own Laser then it would be greatly appreciated if you could use your own on the day as club Lasers are limited.
