COVID-19 Updates

WRSC – COVID 19 CORONAVIRUS CLUB UPDATE 18 – May 17 changes and Summer Camp

O1/06/2021

To all WRSC Members

Following the Government announcement on the roadmap out of lockdown from 17 May, we are pleased to provide this latest update.

It is great to see so many regularly sailing and with the better weather we hope you will all take advantage of getting back on the water.

The virus is still around so we need to abide fully to the Covid social distancing rules which means:

Come changed and ready to sail or change in the car park wherever possible

The changing room facilities are now open but subject to a maximum of 8 in the male changing room and 6 in the female at any one time.

The club house toilets and other facilities can be used but maintain social distancing and give attention to cleanliness by using sanitizer – wear face masks when indoors and follow the one-way process marked

The register should be signed by all for track and trace purposes

Safety boats need to be manned with social distancing in mind

We encourage you to be familiar with the Government guidance and that of the RYA at the following sites –

The changes from the 17 May make the Summer Camp possible. This takes place from Friday 27 – 29

June – please let Charlotte know if you plan to attend so that we can manage the camping and BBQ.

(See details below).

Many thanks
