It's planned to hold a basic course for inexperienced and first time dinghy racers on

Saturday 5^th December 11.00 am

The First Race experience can sometimes be a little daunting, and this course is aimed at making this step a little easier. 

At this time of year, we can't guarantee to get out on the water, but with reasonable weather, it's intended to do some practical training with patrol boat cover.  There will also be theory sessions for starting, mark rounding, type of courses encountered and basic rules, all aimed at boosting your confidence.

All you need is to bring your sailing kit and a packed lunch; hot drinks will be provided.  If the weather's rubbish, we will spend our time going through the theory, talking through problems or viewing sailing DVD's.
