The club would very much like to thank all those who turned up to help on Saturday 8th May for the Workday. The day started well with a cuppa and a bacon buttie to help the workers on their way! Many replaced the fencing around the laser compound whilst others attacked the hedges and brambles with cutters and strimmers.The electricians got to work on the heaters inside under the expert supervision of Andy Hoey! Graham had great fun charging round on the lawn mower being very careful to negotiate round the flag pole and the goose. Thanks to Lynn Sales who provided a huge pot of home made soup for lunch - just what the troops needed to give them another energy boost! All in all a great day with a great atmosphere! Lots of work was completed around the club well done everyone. |
