Summer Camp 2011

Friday 24th – Sunday 26^th June

It’s nearly that time of year again to enjoy another Summer Camp weekend at the sailing club – quite possibly the most exciting and enjoyable event of the WRSC sailing and social calendar. This year will be the 6^th Summer Camp weekend and another great opportunity for WRSC members and their friends and family to enjoy both sailing and non-sailing activities in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This is a clique-free zone – all the adults and kids muck in together to make the weekend a success – camping, playing, socialising, sailing, preparing food, and generally swelling the bar profits (the adults that is!). You don’t need a family or children to attend – everyone is welcome.

With our own fleet of Opis, Toppers, Larks and Xenons and qualified RYA trainers there should be something for everyone. From beginners and less experienced sailors to those who want to brush up on their racing tactics, we can provide on the water activities and on shore discussions. We can also offer help with Power boats and OOD duties.
