Double Gold for Roy's Lad PDF Print E-mail

News came in late on Thursday night that Roy's lad has won the Laser World Championships in Canada.

With his confidence sky high from wins in Beijing and the European Championships, Paul went to the Worlds hoping to do well.  He performed extremely well and won by an impressive 6.5 points.

 

Congratulations to Paul and we look forward to hearing the tales from Roy at the weekend.

Eight at Abersoch Dinghy Week 09 PDF Print E-mail

P Benn and E Byers from Ripon SC and White Rose SC won the YHYSA regatta on Saturday 4th July in their RS200. J Holt in a Laser was second and W. Hackney in a Lser Radial was third. Read on for the full results...

SPRING BANK REGATTA 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Forty-seven boats took part in West Riding SC’s annual Open Spring Bank Regatta held over the three days of the Spring Bank Holiday.  There were class starts for Solos and Lasers, with the Saturday and Sunday of the event counting towards the Winder Boats Solo Northern Championship.  Other classes started in the Handicap Class.

WINDER BOATS SOLO NORTHERN CHAMPIONSHIP 09 PDF Print E-mail
Twenty four boats, twenty one degrees centigrade, seventeen prizes, two races and no wind were some of the magic numbers emerging from the inaugural Winder Boats Solo Northern Championship held at West Riding Sailing Club over the weekend 23rd and 24th May.

Summer Camp 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Hurry... Not much time left to book your place.

 This year's Summer Camp is from Friday 19th June to Sunday 21st June.  In order to book you place please use the Summer Camp 2009 Booking FormWe need your form returning by the 30th May.

 This is a popular weekend with sailing events and fun and games for all the family.  The weekend is yours and you can take part in one of the activities or do something on your own.  Camping is available from Friday night for those of you that want to camp.  Food is available all weekend and the fee includes your evening meal on Saturday night.
