Abi and Jonny are now the lucky owners of a shiny new baby boy.  He arrived 10 days early on Monday 28th December at weighed in at 6lbs 7oz.  The young lad still has no name...

Brass Monkey Series 2010 PDF Print E-mail
NORTHERN BRASS MONKEY SERIES 2010
 

With more snow and ice forecast, West Riding SC's Northern Brass Monkey Series looks as though it will be living up to its billing when it gets underway at Wintersett Reservoir this weekend

 

The 2010 Northern Brass Monkey Series is open to monohulls with PY 908 - 1386.  There are two back-to-back handicap races each week from 3rd January through to 21st February, with the first start at 12 noon, and 50% of races started counting towards the series.  Entry fee for visitors is £15 per boat for the whole series or £2 per boat per day.  There is a free berth if you require, in our secure compounds.

 

You are invited to warm up in our clubhouse and relax in our bar at the end of the day.  Please supply your own food, but you are welcome to use our fabulous galley facilities if you are into gourmet cooking.

Everyone is welcome to come down to the end of year Christmas Fuddle.  Please bring some food you'd like to share and enjoy a bit of Christmas cheer with your friends at West Riding.

Lake closed to non competitors PDF Print E-mail
The Leeds University sailing event is taking place on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November and not Sunday 25th October as previously published.

This means that the  lake will be shut to non competitors on both these days.

Following the Daring Dane in his Flying Finn being crowned this year's Top Dog, the Frostbite series will resume on Sunday 8th Novemeber. 1st Race 11.00 and the second race 13.00. Soeren has set the benchmark. Can he be beaten?
