How does he do it? Saturday 26th September and Gang master Guy once again delivered a perfect day with clear blue skies, a nice southerly breeze and warm temperatures, perfect for sailing.
However once again over thirty volunteers, thought different and turned up armed with drills, saws, snips pliers and climbing gear ready to attack the jobs that Guy had lined up for them. Some had already put in appearance the previous week; others had heard what fun it had been (or was it the rumour of a free bar?)
Saturday 19th September saw over 20 volunteers turning up to help on the workday. Led by Guy Cokhill the teams were split into roof repairs, jetty repairs , slipway clearing and building a new compound fence. A big "Thank You" is needed for all the people who turned up as we really couldn't do it without you. A huge amount was achieved during the day and provides a good foundation for the next workday on Saturday 26th September.
