A reminder that West Riding SC’s Northern Brass Monkey Series for cool sailors gets underway this weekend with the first race scheduled for 12 noon on Sunday 4th January.There are two races each day, every Sunday through to 22nd February inclusive, with the first race start at 12 noon. 50 % of races started will count towards series points, and prizes will be presented after sailing on 22nd February. This is the third Northern Brass Monkey series and a bigger than ever entry is expected with even more visitors promised. The entry fee for non-members is a very modest £2 per day, or £10 for the series. You are welcome to leave your boats in the secure compounds free of charge. Please bring your own refreshments during the day, and our modern galley is available if you want to show off your culinary skills. The bar will open after racing to help you thaw out and exchange tales of the day.
