"Now you see, it now you don't" has been the story of ice in West Yorkshire this last week. But now with the weekend upon us a hard frost last night followed by significant snow today has undone the good work and for the second week running it has been decided to postpone the start of West Riding SC's Northern Brass Monkey Series.  A thaw is forecast later in the weekend, which will hopefully be sustained through until Sunday 16^th January when clear water will be visible again.

The Northern Brass Monkey Series is open to monohulls with PY 908 - 1386.  There are two back-to-back handicap races each week through to 6^th March, with the first start at 12 noon, and 50% of races started counting towards the series.  Entry fee is £15 per boat for the whole series or £2 per boat per day.  There is a free berth if you require, in our secure compounds.
